During his 10 years of practice, Tyler Brown has had numerous criminal trial successes and handled a wide array of complex criminal cases.
As a native of Paintsville, Ky, Tyler attended Paintsville City School and graduated from Wolfe County High School in 2001. Tyler completed his undergraduate studies at Morehead State University in 2004 with a double major in History and Philosophy. He went on to study law at Appalachian School of Law where he was on the Deans List and obtained an academic scholarship. While in law school, Tyler served as an intern for the Kentucky Attorney General’s Office where he drafted appeals for the criminal appellate division under Attorney General Greg Stumbo.
Tyler has over ten years of criminal defense experience beginning his practice with the Public Defender’s Office in Somerset, Ky as a staff attorney for six years before transferring to the Paducah Public Defenders Office where he eventually assumed the Directing Attorney position of that office for over two years. Tyler has had numerous criminal trial successes during his tenure at the Public Defender’s office and has handled a wide array of complex criminal cases over his career.
Tyler is an active member of the McCracken County Bar Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.
He lives in the Reidland with his wife of over ten years, Maggen, a registered nurse, and their two sons, Henry and Boyd, aged eight and five respectively. Tyler and his sons are avid car enthusiasts and are seen frequently driving and working on their 1971 Chevrolet C10 together and going to car shows and drag races. He and his family attend church at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Paducah, Ky.
