Washington Street Community Warming Center Christmas Fundraiser
It’s the season of giving, and this Christmas, the Bryant Law Center is proud to give back to our community by supporting local organizations that embody the true spirit of generosity. One such organization is the Washington Street Community Warming Center, which works diligently to make our community a better home for our neighbors going through hard times. We’re honored to support their efforts!
About
The Washington St. Baptist Church hosts a walk-up warming center next door to the church, providing a safe, warm place to stay during the cold winter nights. The Warming Center is open to anyone on nights when the temperature is 40° or below.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Washington Street Community Warming Center is to provide temporary shelter for those who experience homelessness during the winter months.
Washington Street Community Warming Center serves anyone who is homeless. During the holidays, the center provides essential services, including dinner, breakfast, snacks, clean clothing, coats and outerwear, hygiene products, as well as laundry and shower facilities. The organization welcomes community support through donations of winter wear items, snacks, sheets, cleaning supplies, and toilet paper. They also encourage monetary donations and the involvement of volunteers. While the center operates from November 1st through March 31st, volunteers can sign up at any time during this period to assist in their efforts.
